Ram in my Abode!
I believe that Ram is not just a name of a Hindu God, rather it is a spirit which reminds us of Dharma, the way of life. With ideological and religious clashes today all around and a report almost arriving into public hands, reminding of wounded sentiments, there are strong chances of re-eruption of hatred all around.
In this scenario, in one of my visits to Old Delhi, I met one Muslim family who worship Ram. They consider Ram as their patron and the source of energy. They don’t need and pictorial representation of Ram. Their house was previously owned by a Brahman family, some 90 years ago, and they allow members of this Brahmin family to worship their idol, which is placed in the present Muslim Home.
