The Truth i saw in a Dream
Akaanksha, one of my friends gifted through the architecture course at Gurgaon. She was bold, bolder and boldest within the cosy-posies. Even macho-hunks of my small college were afraid of taking any panga with her.
For any class treasury collection, she was the one who collected all money with some gaalies to her or vice-versa. She had excellent managerial and organizational skills as she used to keep everything structured and transparent. I was considered as her brother. Most importantly, this consideration was by her. I feel just lucky and fortunate to be associated with bold and daring women, who also had other good qualities.
During our regular class group works, we all got chances to interact with each others parents. I belong to the most interactive group. I met Akaanksha’s mother, who was as bold as her, during an annual festival. But I never saw her father and was always curious to meet him.
One Raksha Bandhan day, when she called me at her home, I expected her father to be there. But again I missed him by minutes. So again that quest was left halfway. I could have asked her to show me her dad’s photograph but somehow I never asked. And even in this information and communication age, I never bothered to search through any medium like internet. May be I was never desperate to know. Rather it was a coincident. But one can wonder and should, why I am after a person, who is one of my classmates’ Dad. And for sure, I don’t want to discuss any thing like Architecture or any Marriage proposal, of course not mine, how can I? May be to help one of my friends!
one tends to create an image of a person, whom you have not seen, but heard about, or construct through others mediums. In this case I constructed Mr. Luthra’s image through Akaanksha’s random and definitely non-linear descriptions. But again, why I am after a person, whom I have not seen, and has no meaningful relation. Has he haunted me in my dreams? Has he haunted others? Has he haunted the city, the state or the whole world? Has he…?
Oh ho hho oh ho ho… now please don’t haunt me with all these questions! The answer to all your questions is YES…
Actually, it is very interesting to see a person whom you have not seen. Specifically when you see him directly on some non-physical medium like… a dream! And yes! I saw him for the first time in a dream!
Mr. Luthra, proud father of my bold sis-friend and a resident of Vasant Kunj, suddenly started speaking Truth. That does not mean that he never spoke truth. He used to speak same amount of truth which was required to live and sustain in a city like Delhi. But imagine what can happen when a person suddenly start speaking only truth? He will be considered honest and truthful. He may create problems for himself if he has hidden something in the past! But imagine a situation when a person starts speaking, in fact yelling truth about the other person. How a fake person will encounter this truth-speaking person?
There is news on newspapers and TV channels. Before all media mediums dissolved with his truth, his neighborhood, Vasant Kunj here, starts self-evacuating and running away from Mr. Truth Luthra. Consequently, the city starts running away from this Vasant Kunj’s True Man. Imagine the situation of Politicians, Bureaucrats, Journalists and other citizens! And who are eventually left? Just imagine…ok don’t… just think!
May be the trees, the cows, the dogs, the insects, the mosquitoes will be there. Because, either they can’t speak or only they only speak TRUTH!
